This may not be the Red Dead game fans were hoping for, as the possibility of a sequel is long overdue – recently a possible map was leaked for the sequel to Red Dead Redemption. Unfortunately, it looks like we will not be getting a Redemption remaster anytime soon, but the release of Revolver on PS4 could suggest a sequel in the near future.
Red Dead Revolver is a more arcade shooter style western game than it’s open world sequel. The two games share no story connections or mechanics, as Revolver is a more shooting gallery, linear style of game. When it was released in 2004 it received moderately successful reviews and has a 73 on Metacritic.
