For those unversed, The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a free-to-play spin-off of The Elder Scroll RPG series and sees players building and upgrading a town by taking on an assortment of quests and tackling roguelike dungeons. The launch of the Nintendo Switch version coincides with the release of the latest 1.7 update to the game as well. According to Bethesda, additions include:

New quests in a gauntlet-type mode: Brand new quests have been added, including one that is similar to The Elder Scrolls: Blades PvP mode. Arena rewards and guild leaderboards: The leaderboards have been reset and all players who already ranked will receive gems, health potions, and chests based on which arena they’ve reached previously. A free gift: Players will receive a brand-new decoration the next time they log in.

Players of the mobile version are able to pick up where they left off on the Nintendo Switch with cross-progression between the two versions. All players have to do is simply link their Bethesda.net account on both platforms.

For new players, the Nintendo Switch version also offers a Quick Start Edition, which gifts players 30,000 Gold, 2,000 Gems, building materials, the exclusive Sylvan Fountain decoration, and rare gear once owned by the Bloodfall King. All of this is bundled in one package for $14.99.

You can download The Elder Scrolls: Blades on the Nintendo eShop now or download the update on mobile devices.
